GB12345 - do you mind me asking what 'Createspace' is and what type of freelancing stuff you do? (If that is not too nosey a question to ask?).

Createspace is Amazon's self-publishing business. You can basically publish your book (or CD/Video) for free and then they pay you a royalty for each copy sold. You create your book using Word (using templates they provide) and upload it as a PDF. You can then proofread the contents online and they advise you of any formatting problems and then you can use a cover creator to create a cover. Your books are then available on the Amazon US, UK and EU sites.

My freelancing is varied - I've done some web development work using PHP, some VBA work and I've also done a couple of technical reviews for books.

Hangs head in shame, have not sent in total, and have been worse than rubbish at commenting :(

However on a bright note I made it to just under £1,000 extra, not quite the figure I hoped for but double the figure I expected.

Next year I have lots of ventures in mind and will try harder and harder

See you on the other side :)
To those who are given much, much is expected

            Play.com points spent = £7.03
Advantage card points spent = £19.71
            Nielsen Mobile = £5.00
            Top CashBack claimed = £64.00
            Halifax = £5.00
            LoveFilm* = £9.01

Total since last post = £109.75
            New Total = £964.66

Obviously not going to make the target (unless I sell a kidney or something), maybe I'll just try aiming for 4 figures!

*£15 Amazon voucher when you became a chargeable customer - I deducted the £5.99 that was charged (so I'm also effectively getting two free months of LoveFilm instant :))

Been very active on ebay and managed to sell quite alot of stuff this year so far

I've been splitting the money made into 2 parts, one to clear part of my debt, the other to a saving account i opened
The savings account now has about £1750 so far and I've got quite a lot listed as well with biddings already on a few so hopefully will have the full £2013 by end of this month

Am hoping to use part of that to purchase an imac when i go to usa over xmas.

            Didn't make 4 figures.

            December was merely

            £5 from Halifax
            £5 for Nielsen

            = £974.66

Oh I suppose I got free tea and cake from John Lewis too.

Well done to everyone who completed the challenge!
          5. Did amazing in December!!! Made £457.75 taking my total up to...........

            £2235.75!!!!!!!:j:j:j

Been an amazing month. This mainly comes from £100 to spend at House of Frazer prize, Christmas money (£135), Toluna, Power of Opinions, Opinion World, AIP and Influenced By You :D

Fingers crossed I make next years target of £2014 too :D
