Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
  • New total is £408.04.

Have a few things awaiting collection so this will hopefully add another £70 but will add that once they have been collected.

Up to £385.02 for the month and £935.27 for the year.

Working on a number of Freelance jobs which will provide me with regular small milestone payments for the next couple of weeks, so will add those as and when they are approved.
  • Got another £2.50 from One Device research. I'll update my sig :)
    £2013 in 2013 / £353.22 /£2013 so far

  • Got asked to work a 3hr shift thanks to someone calling in sick at work and not enough cover. I'm on holiday this week too so it's an extra bonus :) Also have a few quid from my spare change pot so my new total is £345.12 Very pleased so far. I have plenty of stuff still trying to sell, so i'll have more to add to the totals at some point throughout the year. At least i haven't had to sell my last shoe to earn some extra :rotfl:

    Keep it up everyone! :D

I hope it isn't too late to join! I've been earning as much as I can extra anyway but this challenge would be an extra incentive, especially reading how well everyone is doing :-)

    So far I'm on:
    Swagbucks £80
    Imutual cashback £30
    Topcashback £18
    Bonus for passing exam £50

    £188.00/£2013.00

I'm very unlikely to get anywhere near 2013 but shoot for the stars and all that!
  • Just sold an old baby change bag for £10 so new total is £418.04.

£65 added today thanks to selling some old broken silver and gold to a local shop. Now onto listing things on ebay since it's a free listing weekend!
  • I am on a roll! Or at least I feel it!! :rotfl:

I've "sold" my unused rosebowls from my wedding to my mum for £10! so there's another sum to add to my total, so makes is £447.47 I think! Woop!:o:T

    DFW - Tesco CC: [STRIKE]£3149.71[/STRIKE]£0! Capital One CC:[STRIKE] £2242.01[/STRIKE]£0! :T Overdraft: [STRIKE]£283[/STRIKE] £0! :T
  • Congrats guys everyone is doing so well!

I still haven't got round to doing my eBay -_- will maybe do it tonight after my 10 hr shift -_-

On a better note though I have managed to break my saving record (previously only ever getting to about £300, bad I know!) but I now have £576 in my savings pot as had £150 from my change jar and had £90 from extra work at the weekend, rather delighted with this to be honest, even with being away for 3 months of the year I may manage to get the £2013 saved, which will then be half my overdraft paid!

Thanks so much to everyone that posts on here as it is reading all the posts daily that keep me going :)

Good luck everyone and keep going :)
