Options
have just posted thread about haircut and decided to go online and see how much i had in account and its £13.20 in credit. however my credit card says that i am overlimit and i can not understand this. i havent used it since january and i won a my charges back and they should have been paid straight off my card. it wont show up recent transactions just keeps saying to make a payment. i am not understanding at all. thought i was doing so well.
i m never gonna get out of this mess. all hard work seems to be for nothing now. so upset and dont know what else i can do. where am i going wrong?

All I can suggest is that you give the bank and your card provider a call and ask them to explain what they are doing and why.

But in the meantime, stay with it, you are doing well x

All I can assume is that they've lowered your limit without telling you - which I'm sure they're not allowed to do!

Give them a call & let us know how you get on

Could it be that a recent payment is showing up on one but not the other?

Your card could have a fraudulant transaction on it - you need to check ASAP.

I had $2000 Singapore dollars on one of my cards once - about £140 - but the card firm refunded it after a week or so of investigation.

Oh well... just start the process of reclaiming your charges again. They don't learn, do they? LOL.

can you not cancel your payment protection to avoid this sort of thing happening again? Would you even be eligible to claim on it if you lost your job or whatever? Lots of people are not.

i have cancelled it over the phone today. i have used it in the past. however i still have to pay for the month which still leaves me overlimit.
am rather upset by the whole thing at the moment. my dd has said not to be upset as she loves me. some things are just so much more important i guess.
