anyway to get a free sky+ upgrade?

was just wondering if theres any way i could get a free upgrade to sky+ box.
have had sky for years and recently got a brand new set box and dish cos i told them i wanted to cancel.third time i have rung to cancel so they wouldnt do any discounts but i said the reception was rubbish so they gave me the new dish and box.i only pay a £15 subscription to them.
any advice would be much apprieciated.thanks

I cancelled with them a while ago and after 3 months of being away, they rang me up and asked why i left and offered me a free sky+ box if i came back, don't know if it will work for you but might be worth a try if your happy to get rid for a while.

Or if you are living with a partner, then cancel yours and get them to take out a new subscription.

thanks bigbadbob, its not a bad idea but the dd comes from my a/c and would still do so even if we swopped names.think sky would smell a rat but may try it anyway.

Hmm interesting, anybody know how I might get a free v+ back, they charge 75gbp to come and fit then 15gbp per month on top, thing is when I joined cable I did not realise i would not be able to record anything, it is a right nightmare. I used to have freeview with 80gb hd, but5 my ariel blew off in January, so decided to move to cable and put my broadband in with that. I wish i had stayed with the freeview now!!!

i cancelled last month mentioned sky+ they offered me for £49 i said no i will wait till it becomes free:D here is hoping

she said sky+ will never be free
