My local shop has just 'rebranded' and are still selling second class stamps at the price before the rise (21p?)

I left my switch card in a supermarket on Friday, and as I hadnt realised till Saturday, they cut it up. Getting a new one is a right palava - I have to go to the branch, or write to them (they need a signature and wont accept this by fax)then it will take up to 10 days to receive a card, and my pin will follow 5 days later!! I have 15p in my purse so it looks like I wont be spending much at all for a while!!! What a great way to save money!!

    OMG

What a hassle! I know it's for security and everything but they should have a system where they return it to the bank rather than cut it up!

Hope you have access to other funds if you need them, but yes it is a good way to think twice about purchases:rotfl:
