Argos returns!

Hi guys,
Bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 a couple of days ago and paid £258.00 for it from Argos. It's turned out to be faulty (the speakers don't work so I'm preparing to take it back)
I was planning on getting replaced so I checked the store online to make sure it had some in stock. Upon doing so I've found that the tablet in question has now dropped in price to £238.00. As well as this they now have a special offer on it which give you the tablet and a 16gb microsd card for a total of £252.99 (still lower than what I paid for the tablet in the first place)
So my question is this - when returning the product can I ask for the tablet replacement as a special offer or not? I know I could just refund the money instead and then buy their offer but the refund could take 3 days to receive and by then they may have sold out as it is christmas and they are selling like hot cakes!
At the minute I'm guessing I don't have a right to the special offer as I accepted the transaction at the original price but I just thought I would check.
Cheers.
Ollie

May be a for an immediate refund you could take it back and have £258 credit on an Argos gift card, and use that to buy one for £238.
Don’t forget your £50 Samsung cashback http://www.samsung.com/uk/tab2cashback/0 -
I work for argos and if you explained to me about the deal, I would probably sort it out for you, so ask the assistant.
It would take 3 working days to go back onto your card, but if you have enough money in the bank, buy the new one straight away.
If you want it on a gift card, remember - if you need to return it in future, you will only have a gift card back.:wave:0
