what date to pay mortgage payments?

I've noticed on mortgage applications they ask for:

What date would you prefer to pay your mortgage? (between 1st and 28th) *

I'm applying for a fixed rate mortgage. Does the date that i choose to pay my mortgage montly (between 1st and 28th)increase or decrease my mortgage payments?

Not after the first month, no.
Most people select a date a couple of days after their payday.

The first payment will vary depending on when the second payment and subsequent are but other than that it makes no difference.
