Free entry to Kew Gardens 22nd Dec - 4th Jan (Book online from 17th)

http://www.kew.org/index.htm

From Monday 17 Dec 2012, book online at Kew Gardens for free entry between Saturday 22nd Dec 2012 and Friday 4th Jan 2013.
Entry tickets usually cost £16 each so this is a brilliant freebie if you are planning a visit to London or live nearby. It's a lovely way to walk off some of the extra weight gained during the festive period.

Remember free tickets are only available to be booked from the 17th December so make sure you write it down in your diary.

Thanks to offer oasis for this freebie

Just booked mine - no charge.

    [STRIKE]
Says online tickets are valid for 30 days from date of ticket; but I suspect in this case it will be limited for the free promotional period...
    [/STRIKE]

Tickets will only be valid for the day you book...

Just tried to book as others have managed to get them now but the calendar for booking tickets doesn't show the dates between 23.12.12 - 04.01.13.

I assume they have changed the site so people cannot book the free tickets until 17.12.12 unless there is somewhere else I should be clicking for the free tickets.
  • Looks like they've released the 22nd in error (their weeks run Sun-Sat).

    More details here http://www.kew.org/about-kew/press-media/press-releases-kew/free-entry-to-kew-gardens/index.htm

These seem to suggest that your tickets will only be valid on the day you select - I have asked them to clarify what actually will happen...
  • Kew have confirmed to me that tickets will only be valid for the day you select, and that additional T&C's will be released on Monday.
