You don't need to buy cook books, you will be able to find everything you need online - Tyr BBC recpies, I have got a few good ones from there and they are tried and tested. They also have the option to select "quick and easy"

But there are plenty of other online places to get quick, cheap and easy recpies, just GOOGLE what you fancy0 -
Great to hear you should be able to get out of the monthly payday loan cycle in one more month as this is absolutely crucial to getting yourself sorted out. Hopefully that really good advoice about tax relief on yoru business mileage will help do this.
Have you considered enrolling at college to learn how to cook? it will save you money, will be fun, and you might make some interesting new friends0 -
To answer one of your questions:
I recently (took effect in November) changed my standing orders and direct debits from the 5th of the month to the 1st - we get paid on the 26th or the next working day after.
I used to feel flush for a week then get the shock of my life when everything went out a few days later and I was left with £100 to last me 3 weeks - lunches, petrol everything! Now I pay everything upfront and as close to payday as I can.
It does help me to stay focused and my blips are minor now rather than major.0 -

DD265 - Thanks for your advice. Is it easy enough to get the companies to move the date of the DDs?0 -

I have never shopped at Aldi before, crazy as this is the nearest supermarket to me. As soon as I get paid I am going to take a trip there and check it out.0 -
Hey guys, thanks for all of your support so far. Yesterday I only brought petrol. Today I'm at work so I can eat there as its free! Tomorrow will be the same so hopefully no need for ANY expenditure this weekend, wish me luck0

My son is a dreadful cook as well, however he can't afford takeaways either.
Have you thought of buying a slowcooker?
In the morning put in a chopped up onion and say some diced chicken and a jar of curry sauce, when you get home stick a pack of 2 min rice in the micro......Dinner is served!
Works with a few other things too. Sweet and sour in a jar springs to mind.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50
Amazon 14.......4/50 Etsy14............46/75. Ebay........23/2000
