mortgage direct from nationwide despite being overdrawn.

i am thinking about applying for a nationwide flexclusive mortgage (4 year fix at 2.89%) as i have a current account with them.

Our house is worth £200k and we need to borrow about £130k over 25 years. So about 65% LTV.

I earn about £28k
my wife earns about £10k

The only thing i'm concerned about is that we are currently overdrawn by about £1500, although we are steadily reducing it.
We are overdrawn because my wife has been on maternity leave and has only just returned to work.

Our credit files are both spotless

should i be worried about being declined because of this?

Regards

kevin
