Everytime I read the title of this topic: Freebie highlight of the week! I can't help but hear it in the style of the 'TV HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEEEEEEK' on Harry Hill's TV Burp.

This week has been painfully depressing freebie wise - actually no, I take that back - I did get a stapler - one of those that need less pressure to use.

Must say, I love the little Worcester bosch handwarmer too!

Although my house has been described as being heated "to the temperature of a tropical forest", I am a chilly soul and my poor hands get frozen when I sit at the keyboard of an evening!

I had full central heating installed last year, to replace a creaking 60s system that barely worked. And I had a Worcester Bosch boiler put in! So pleased as punch that I have the hand warmer to match!

What's more, my new (double) radiators have a little grille thing on top, and hot air blows up from it, between the radiator panels. I have discovered that I can pop the hand warmer on the grille, leave it for a few minutes, and voila! It's hot again!

Sorry...more to the point: the free Christmas cards from Superdrug (with the Sunday Express, today) were pretty decent. You had the choice of 16 cartoon-style, 12 luxury, or 5 embellished designs. I got a dozen glittery snowmen and santas. Well pleased!
