Wait! See post below for an alternative
Just got one in store from curry's, showing as £120 on Amazon so seems to be a pretty good price! Had them in red or black

Ho hum! Went round the corner to Tesco Home Plus who have the newer more compact version, also for £50! Listed on Amazon at £60.
Damn my impulse buying, but thanks Curry's for a great returns policy lol!

Prefer normal filter coffee myself. OH has one of these and there VERY loud, if you try making a coffee in the morning while other are asleep you'll wake them up. Coffee's quite nice from them but you use alot of the pods, it takes atleast 2 pods for a normal cup.0
-
Ooooh shall I or shan't I......don't know what to do, are they any good, anyone else got one. Pods seem expensive....do they ever come up on offer?0
-
If you dont mind the noise and price of the pods then there worth it. They sound like a jet wash when there making coffee, 2 pods for a mug of coffee aswell. Works out quite steep, however they do make nice coffee.0

Love ours, had it now for 2 years and saved heaps by not going into coffee shops as much , we only use 1 pod per cup though, makes a lovely coffee, always use hot milk too, prefer the Amicano pods the best, friends have tried our coffee & gone and bought machines for themselves , they also only use 1 pod, 2 pods makes a very strong coffee, all depends how you like coffee, but the machines are fab !:wave:0

The picollo isn't a newer version of the one quoted by the OP. it's been on sale for years and has always been around £50-£60.
The picollo also has a tiny water tank, hence the compactness0
