TheHut Returns and Refund

I have read their returns policy but could not find information before posting here.

I posted a order with TheHut for a few items, i then canceled order the next day. The order had not been sent out it was still in the processing stage.

On the same day i canceled they sent message sorry we cannot cancel here is your returns information to send back. I received the order today. I would like to know even though i canceled order before it was sent out, would i be refunded the postage for sending back?

Most likely not. Depending on the size of the item(s) the postage might not be that much hopefully, though may be worth paying the postage as you'll loose a significant amount otherwise. In future, what I'd suggest if you can is to refuse the order when it arrives at your address. The delivery guy will return it at no cost to you, you should then get a refund. Of course you or someone else has to be in to be able to do this.

Otherwise try calling them. Customer care Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm 01606 338 578. Keep this number in case you have problems regarding cancellations or returns in the future. TheHut should hopefully advise what to do in these circumstances.
