do you pay in advance or arrears?

do you pay in advance or arrears with the bank of ireland (or bristol and west as you use to be) does anyone know? i sold a property recently and am just trying to work out whether they owe me anything?

    Either way, it should have been worked into the redemption figure. The only way they'd owe you money is if a payment went out after the redemption figure had already been calculated.

    Do you make a mortgage payment close to the completion date?
  • I actually completed a day earlier then planned so paid the original redemption figure. Would they have taken into account my mortgage payment that went out on the 3rd of the month do you think? We completed on 6th of this month. Guess i will phone them.
