Sound like you go in taking it too seriously if you ask me. Try just a shirt and tie for the next few interviews. Going in with a suit as a young bloke in his 20s might be overkill unless you're after the CEOs job.

If someone didn't come in a suit I would just assume they didn't own one. Certain jobs and a suit is a necessity.
  • Hang in there - my hubby recruited today a window cleaner for a network tech job on triple his window salary. Zero experience - just liked him. He's taken a risk and never been let down on many occasions

Don't suppose he wants to give me a job too? I love computers and networking (No seriously, I do and at one point had 16 machines in one cupboard and even having got rid of those I still have another 4 in another cupboard, another under the desk along with the main one and the netbook :D)

Try being in the situation where you have experience but the employer believes you'd be "bored" at the entry level position and doesn't give you the job! In the last year I've had that atleast twice despite repeated explanations that I'd be happy to man tills & suchlike!

I get the over qualified all the time and the 'why do you want to take several steps backwards' line.

    200 claiming there experienced chippies
100 claiming there cooked in a kitchen at home in a microwave chips and peas.....but never worked in a chippy
50-100 sent to get there dole or get santioned by jobcentre
another 100 immigrants and recruitment consultants

If your having experience problems then look at your CV and what you have done, You have experience in your own personal life fore example applying for accountancy job you mange your bills daily for a family of four per month there experience...

    hope that helps

Long as they're not illegal immigrants, why should employers discriminate?

And managing daily bills for a family is NOT relevant accountancy work experiece. You might be able to talk the talk if you're applying for a cashier role in a retail store though. The more technical the job is or the more responsibility it carries, the less you're able to brag how you made use of the microwave or counted your mother's purse for her.

True but you see my point dont you
Employers dont discriminate on the controversialist of the subject the op placed a rant about how us employers say experience only and I was only using them as a generic generalization

But there is some truth that Employers take on more estern European workers at present momentum then there own in this country because they work hard and for half of a british salaried
