After living with debt do you ever wonder

how you now manage on so little and just how well you get by?

My spendings have gone down by i would say at least 50%.

I would on an average week spend £140 of food shop, then on big shop week anything near £200.

Now i spend between £60 and £90 cooking OS from scratch, good healthy meals. For a family of 6.

When i shop anywhere if what i normally by is on bogof i buy a few, eg. i have long hair and use plenty of shampoo. My normal shampoo has been on bogof, i now have 8 shampoos and 12 conditioner,s this should last me about 8 months although it stated bogof, i found on my statement its was 3.48 off insted of 2.96 so an better bargain than originally thought.

I use vinegar to clean alot more now.
I now hang or air most of our clothes, tumle dryer as not been used for 4 weeks now, i am keeping a diary to keep me motivated there, i think i was a tumble dryer addict. :rotfl:
I also now only wash on a 40 wash making sure all stains a removed pre wash:j

I totally agree with you until i had my LB moment i would waste money left and right whereas now i am so careful and once i am debt free, i will still continue watching the pennies, as the saying goes watch the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
