Grolsch-type bottles needed!

I have made some Cranberry Gin liquer and want to decant into nice bottles for pressies. Thought the grolsch-type bottles would be neat but in a clear glass rather than green. The price of buying new ones is out of the question .
Can anyone suggest any drinks I can buy in this type of bottle I could drink and re-use?
Cheers

Hi
I've been using these......also from Waitrose. The bottles have a nice pattern, (non product specific!), pressed into the glass and the labels come off easily. Think they make a few different flavours. They are a bit expensive, even when on offer, but the lemonade stuff is delish!

Maybe you could go to your local pub or cafe or somewhere that sell the fancy drinks in bottles and ask. If you explain nicely what it's for they may be willing to give you a few empties, as they're bottles I'm sure they'll only be throwing them away, not like glasses which are used again.. Just a suggestion as the bottle'll be free

i should think that pubs etc might get credit for recycling bottles and not just glasses, not 100% sure though...Car Boot Queen!!

Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!0 -
These are not too expensive to buy as empty bottles http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/home-brewing/wilko-swing-top-bottles-6-x-500ml/invt/0318707/
But at 500 ml they are quite a big bottle0 -
Thanks for all the suggestions.
I ended up buying a couple of clear glass bottes with grolsch tops from a local home-brew shop for £1.50 each (these two are for gifts and hoping they'll be returned when empty!)
For the excess I'm keeping for me I'm using empty J20 bottles with corks.
Now I'm off to start a thread about what to do with the gin-soaked cranberries....!
Merry Christmas everyone! :beer:2011 Wins - Shopping Vouchers / Ice Bucket from Dr Oetker / Local Hair Salon Colour Treatment
