Hi all, am new to his forum. I applied for the Daiy Mail friends and family free railcard. I got the e-mai confirming that I have been successful and that I should receive it before the end of May. I still have not received anything though. Just wanting advice really - has anyone else apied and received theirs? Or not? I tried calling the railcard helpline but they told me that It was nothing to do with them and I would have to contact Daily Mail!

Same here, I emailed them and they said they are dealing with a backlog as it was a popular offer. Problem is I have already booked tickets online for the 7th July using the card if it doesn't come I don't know what to do!

I am exactly the same - have booked tickets for mid July and now am getting a bit worried. Did they give any indication of when they might arrive?...

Due to the high demand for the 2 month Family & Friends Railcard, there has been a significant back log created and we are printing the cards and dispatching them as quickly as possible.

This was sent on the 13th of June, still no sign of the railcard not sure I dare travel without it even tho previously I rarely got asked for it, think I may email them and ask for the promo code to purchase railcard with £10 off.

I had the same email dated the 7th June, still no railcard, all I want is the code, have a railcard valid until August 21st. This is the 1st time it has never arrived.

Well I can wait no longer and don't wish to risk travelling without a railcard so I have just purchased one using tesco vouchers (just hope that it arrives before Sat), bit annoyed tho that I got the confirmation email but still not received free card. Anyone else who was waiting received theirs yet?
