Ok, My apologies for sounding off. Havin a bad day.

I have been looking for an all in one for ages and can't seem to find anywhere that can sort me out with a good system for a good price. I was reading through an old copy of whathomecinema and saw that it highly recommended this model as a good starter.

I know it is quite old, but I wanted a tried and tested model and haven't got a load of wonga to buy the higher end models.

tbh, I don't know if the 545 model is better or not. The 520 model has had some great reviews.

I'm really confused with what to do and its really doing my head in.

Sorry for having a go and thanks for finding it else where, although I'm not sure whether I should go for something that is two years old or not......aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhh

A seperate amp and speakers could be an option.

    Sony STRDE400 (AV Receiver) £139.95

    Yamaha NSP240 (5.1 speaker package) £79.95

£219.90 total assuming you collected from a store. That leaves £30 for you to choose a suitable DVD player. Having a seperate amp gives you a lot more connections for other stuff you might want to connect now or in the future, just an idea.

I've got an older version of the Sony amp above and it's been fantastic.
