Secret Santa Help!

So... this is awkward.
A colleague at work is away during the Secret Santa gift-giving ceremony and he asked me to pick up a gift for his Secret Santa recipient, saying he'd reimburse me. I didn't mind doing this at all and the gift idea was great: the recipient works on the business side and my colleague's gift idea was some chocolate coins. The Secret Santa limit is £5 btw.
The problem is my colleague gave me strict instructions not to spend more than a couple of quid. I got two bags of chocolate coins for £1 from Tescos but this seems so little. I saw a great moneybox in Primark to put them in which, at £4, would be within the Secret Santa limit but since he only told me to spend 1 or 2 pounds I don't know if he'll be annoyed if I get it. I really dont mind getting it but I'm confused as to what to do.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated

99p store and I think Poundland have moneyboxes at the moment shaped like a £ sign and also gold bullion. Would keep you in your budget!'They only had one cow!'0

CAn you email or text him to ask?
The thing is, if he really only wants to spend £2 then if you spend over that you will end up being out of pocket, as he may well refuse to give you any more.
He is being stingy, but he has made it clear what his budget is so unless you can get hold of him I think you will have to stick to it. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Sent my BF to Poundland today and he couldn't find anything
Can't text the colleague as he's away on holiday. Might try another Poundland though.
Thanks for the advice!0 -
If you can't find a money box anywhere could you buy a stocking in poundland and a few Clementines (most supermarkets have them in for a quid or less at the mo). It would take you just over £2 but if there were any spare Clementines you could eat them yourself (assuming you like them).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0
