Hi
Have a read here, might help

Get immediate advice from Shelter, a Law Centre or another agency dont take anything for granted
http://www.shelter.org.uk/
http://www.lawcentres.org.uk/
Lenders and their court reps can be less than sympathetic or they would not be taking you to court in the first place.
A possession order may be granted say for 28 or 56 days and as another poster has said they would then have to apply for a warrant.
Maybe an adjournment would be possible if you can show proof that your circumstances will improve in the near future along with some payment offer
The amount of equity should a positive, but best to get immediate proper advice
Best wishes0 -

As difficult as it is. Face reality. You have plenty of equity so any debt can be repaid. Which will make negotiation easier.0 -
I take it you have already approached the bank for the £45k with the house as collateral.
May sound desperate, but it's last chance saloon.
It's not an overly great amount to repay over 7 years if you put your minds to it.Be happy...;)0 -

The post does not make sense, I would suggest they have just mis-read your post.
Stick to the facts, show you take the debt seriously and open up communication with the banks agent upon your arrival.
Show willing and please take your letter of employment, along with your new income and expenditure from when your income starts coming into the family pot.
Do take this seriously, but you will be given the chance to redeem this situation.
