Help! Buying for 50 staff

HI, I've been tasked with buying about 58 items for staff as a mini xmas surprise gift which they will find on their desk next week.

I've been given a budget of £45 as the idea was for something little like chocolate.

I did get 10 xmas chocolates boxes which were half price from £2 to £1 but thats going to take my budget straight away if I buy more as I don't have £1 per person.

I now need to buy for 13 females and 35 blokes with £35 remaining. I do have a £2 off voucher for poundland when I purchase goods to value of £12.

Anyone want to help me with this challenge?
I can get into town which has shops like Boots, Superdrug, Wilkinsons, Poundland, Tesco, Sainsburys and that sort of shop as I guess those are the shops to go to!

  • What about buying multipack things and splitting up? For females, a multi pack of nail files, I think 6 for £1 in poundland and a few multi packs of decorated socks from Primark? Sould get socks and a nail file for £1.

Mini tolitries from superdrug or tesco? Home Bargains had multi packs of mini lynx.

Unfortunately its not a usual office, more of a depot that everyone has a desk but then go out for the day at different times.
That would be an easier option I know but can't see it working for everyone to be included.
  • Go to Tesco. Buy 5 boxes of Thorntons Continental for £8 each. More if you have nay money off coupons for Tesco.

Spend £5 on some little cellophane bags and that metallic Christmassy ribbon.

Make 58 little gift bags of 3 or 4 chocolates for each person.

You had me at your proper use of "you're".
  • How about gift packs of toiletries, small shower gels etc that you can split? Charity shops often have them at a good price. People hand them in as unwanted gifts.

Ive just bought two packs of M&S toiletries with 5 items in each box for £2.50 each.

You could get a packet of sweets from the supermarkets

eg: Tesco have these on 3 for £1 at the minute
    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A29918506

Or then some if the mini sets available in pound shops etc, and spilt them - the last day i was in there was mael gift sets with shower gel, aftershave and soap for £1 - could give 1 bit with a packet of sweets or similar

Or - how about something christmas themed?

For example - a tree decoration

    Pack of 10 for £3.50

or one glatter bauble individually wrapped for 45p each
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Christmas-Tree-Glitter-Bauble-Gold/dp/B009GFBENW/ref=sr_1_23?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1355225404&sr=1-23

    Christmas Canes

Or ask your boss for another £5 (or actually £3 since you have the £2 off voucher for poundland) and get something for each from the pound shop

    that's really clever idea!
I'm going to pop to tesco's later and have a look.
I'm pretty sure I have a few vouchers for tescos in my purse too!

I am doing xmas crackers. I got a pack of 4 nail varnishes for £2 from primarni and indivdual packs of tissues for £land. Also they do pack of nail 'sanding/buffing blocks' (does that make sense?). For the lads I got mexican jumping beans 6 pairs for £ in £land, finger skateboards, hankies, xmas socks, chewing gum multi packs to split, xtra strong mints, fishermas friends. Sometimes they do Lynx- alike 2 for a quid or travel anti bac hand spray or shaving foam but they wouldn't fit in my crackers. I woudn't do all chocolate in case there are diabetics. fi you do a bit of everything they can swap.

Or, as they're being re-wrapped, Tesco Value Chocs if you can find any.
