Coventry building society mortgage order of application

  • Hi,

Wonder if someone can tell me some info please. my fiancee and I are first time buyers. We had a mortage go through with Coventry but failed on the valuation as the estate didn't tell anybody that it wasn't a standard build however Coventry did say they were happy to lend us the money as credit checks good etc.

Had an offer accepted on another house and valuation survey happened yesterday. How long does it normally take before our Financial Advisor finds out as quite scared due to the fact this is when we lost the other house.

Any help / experience would be appreciated as feel bad for chasing my FA.

    Thanks

    James

  • Thanks,

Have had a bit of a interesting time with mine. Found out through ringing coventry that they needed more info around the bank statement as when we originally applied was over a month ago.

It's now with the Underwriters so been told to wait 48hrs whilst they look at it.

Just hoping and hoping it's good news..
