Turn up your heating alarm for elderly

My parents do not have their heating up high enough and their health is suffering as a result. They can afford to spend more on their heating.
Anyone know of a device that monitors the temperature and tells them to turn up their heating?
I was hoping to get a type of weather station that incorporated a monitor as I was intending it to be a gift that had a useful feature incorporated into it rather than just to annoy my father !!!
If there is a better place to post this please let me know.
Thanks.

You could try something set up for babies rooms such as the Gro-Egg. It's basically a thermometer but the coloured glow is easier to see at a glance:-

Thanks for the Gro-Egg link. I have seen a few similar ones for babies but this one could be suitable for adults as well.
I would still like to incorporate some kind of warning into something of interest like a weather station if possible. I have found them with humidity warnings but not cold !!!0 -
i'd leave the heating on constant at a manageable temperature say 20 degrees as it will keep them constantly warm and shouldn't cost that much more, plus they should get the 120 rebate off their bill automatically depending on their age and the winter fuel allowance which should really help:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Do they actually want their home that hot - lots of people don't like it.0

Thanks for the replies.
I emailed the Gro Egg company. This is their reply in case anyone is interested:
"The Gro Egg will turn Blue with a sad face when the Temperature drops below 16 Degrees Celsius, Yellow with a smiley face between 16-20 degrees Celsius and red with a sad face over 24 degrees. These are based on ideal room temperatures for young babies so not too sure if it would be warm enough for your parents."
I think 16 degrees is just a bit too low.
I wish they would leave their heating on all the time but they won't.
Age UK do a winter pack with a thermometer and one of those should be on its way to them. Not sure what it is like but one will not be enough and if it annoys my Dad too much it might get put away, whereas a present of interest wouldn't.
I have found weather stations with humidity warnings, ice warnings, but not indoor cold so am still looking.0
