The road to University.

I've decided to go back to University, part time, so that I can complete my LLB Law degree. Due to using up most of my student finance funding, I'm having to go it alone.
I've decided to take up match betting, to raise the funding for my first year, out of two. My aim is to raise £3000.
This will be my diary of everything I am doing to raise this money

Monday 10th December - MISTAKES.
Today is my first day of match betting. After reading through the guide a few times I think I may have cracked it. So long as I stick to the rules, I should come out on top.
So. I signed up to Betfair, prior to reading the full guidelines. Rookie mistake number 1 right there, as BetFair are offering a free bet, which I missed (boo!).
I signed up to L last night, but had some doubts about match betting so didn't go through with it. After reading the guide today, I went for it. I didn't read the full T&C's, and missed out on their free bet, as the T&C's stated that I had to deposit money into my Ladbrokes account the same day you open it. This was Rookie mistake number 2.
I placed a bet on Fulham v Newcastle. The odds were 2/2.1.
I thought this sounded like a good close enough match. WRONG. I was unaware that odds could be to 2 decimal places!
So going forward...
> I will check the free bets T&C's BEFORE opening an account.
> I will also check TCB / Quidco too, to get maximum opportunities.
> I will only place bets which are 0.04> in difference.
After realising my rookie mistakes, I opened an account with PP.
I placed a bet which was Mallorca v Sevilla, with the odds being 2.5/2.5. This enabled me to get my free £20 bet. I also got £20.20 cashback from going through TCB.
After each entry, I am going to have a little 'transactions' list at the bottom, mostly so I can keep track of my goings on
Stakes: £50
Cash Back: £0 (Awaiting for £20.20 to be credits to TCB)
Free Bets: £0 / £20
TOTAL: -£50
The total is minus because I am waiting for the cash back to be credited. Free bets is £0 / £20 as I have a free bet, but have not yet placed and extracted this.SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000
