Photo album with 365 pages, or a photo per day display

Hello all,

Wonder if either the shoppers or crafters had any ideas about this - I'm struggling for a solution on t'internet.

I was thinking of getting my step-mother a photo album that displays 1 photo a day, but it seems pretty difficult to get.
My reasoning behind this was that she does 'Blip-photo' on the internet, where you can take 1 picture, every day, and display it, with a caption. It's like facebook but tends to be less self obsessed, as the subject is something else, not yourself, and there isn't as many people wanting you to LIKE world peace, or whatever..

Anyway, she's got 2 years behind her, but I thought she might like to be able to to print out the coming years', and put it into some kind of album. I thought a page per day would be nice to stick the caption on too.

Then further thinking about it, I thought what an amazing resource that would be for years to come, and fancied doing it myself.
Even now I'd like to look back to a certain holiday, and just see one picture for a day, instead of the usual incoherent order that my photo's tend to be in - something ordered and disciplined (it takes a lot of discipline when you 'back blip' = get back off holiday and populate each day with only one pic, that was taken that day.

I'm no crafter, but I can imagine you could create this yourself, using binders, etc, but I'm rubbish at that stuff.

So the questions are -
1) Has anyone heard of anything ready-made that would suit this.
2) Anyone got any ideas to make something like this quickly and painlessly?

It's a lovely idea - my son was involved in something similar but then gave up after a few months!

What perhaps you could do is use 12 smaller photo albums - one for each month.

What a lovely idea. My first thought was an online photo book. Photobox has a special offer that ends tonight. 365 photos would be very expensive, but what about picking out one special photo from each week, and making a book of 52 photos for 2012?

Yes, I think that's the issue here - 365 pages/photos - it's a lot. I guess you could print out every month, and save some of the money, or do a lower quality one on your home printer, or collage them together each week/month and print out onto a good quality A4 sheet.

Or have several on a page, with some special ones on a full size page. I do quite like this idea.

I was going to do a photo a day of the tree I look at out of our back door, but never kept it up....

How about a page-per-day diary? you could find a 2012 one somewhere, fill it in for her by using one of the 'free photo prints when you sign up' deals, and then include a blank 2013 one for her to fill in. Might look odd if it was a lined one but you could find a blank page one?
