Dear All,
new to the site and Ireland having just emigrated from Australia(the kids still have not forgiven us) would really appreciate info on best Irish mortgages/variable rate/low interest/early repayment, thanks.

Is this Norther Ireland or Southern?
If you are talking about Northern Ireland then all UK mortgages are open to you.
If you are referring to Southern Ireland then you need a specialist mortgage broker that deals with foreign mortgages.

Having worked in Northern Ireland, I understand that there are massive differences between getting mortgages on either side of the border. I found it too that not every uk lender would lend in NI. Post more detail and I will see if I can point you in the right direction.

To help you with a Souther Ireland mortgage, you will need the services of a specialist foreign mortgage broker, not a UK domestic mortgage broker.
