I have a cheque for a tax refund and for various reasons have not yet banked it. Can anyone tell me how long it is valid for please...I thought 6 months but I have read it may be 3 months validity now ? Thanks

It's a while since I had a cheque from them as I generally get refunds paid directly into my account now. I think there is a restriction on how long it's valid for, and it may well be 3 months, as far as I remember the length of time is printed on the cheque itself, have you looked?0
