All Debt Cleared At Last :)

Hi
I hope this is okay to post, if not, please move to the relevant section.
As of Thursday 06/12/12 our DMP with StepChange was finally paid, WOOHOO!! We did have 31 months left to pay with it but having received a fairly large PPI refund we used that to clear our debt. It feels so good to be finally debt free and just in time for Christmas too.

As we have been on the DMP for over 10 years, not being on it is going to be a lot different. Can anyone recommend what to do now post DMP?
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Best wishes
Catherine x

What a wonderful Christmas present for you.0 -
BIG congratulations to you.
Over 10 years on a DMP, shows that anyone can get out of debt, if they have the desire and determination to do so.
You may want to post also on the debt free roll of honour thread as well, as I am many others have.
If you post a brief outline of your circumstances and how you went about clearing the debt, it can give people an insight and ideas as well as inspiration to clear their debts.
Hope you and your family enjoy having your first debt free Christmas for over 10 years!!! :T0 -
