returning items brought with exchange vouchers

Hi all

dont know if this is the right section to put this.

I got my daughter a Christmas gift from tesco yesterday. I used some exchange vouchers to buy it (it cost £19.95 and used £20 exchange vouchers to pay for it) i got it home and I dont think that she will like it. I have found something else on the website that i would like to get her. which I think she will like more and is cheaper so I can get her something else.

the question is
can i Take it back to store and get a refund or the vouchers back?

In reverse order - you won't get your CC vchrs nor your Exchange vchrs back - they have been used, and redeemed.

Most likely is getting your original points back - to come back out to you in the next CC mailing.

Small possibility of arranging an-exchange in the store.

I assume it was in-store you bought the item as on-line wouldn't allowed overpayment.

what I want to do is this

i doubled up my vouchers and got £20 to spend on toys.

spent the lot on 1 item

could i take it back and exchange it for something else from the toy range

for example I got a doll take it back and buy some lego for the same value?

Ill just buy the other gift of the website.
