Slow cooker recipe book for D-i-L

Can anyone recommend a recipe book for using with slow cookers please?
My D-i-L has recently bought a slow cooker and all she ever cooks in it is beef stew! She has asked for a recipe book for Christmas so she can be a bit more adventurous, but I have no idea which one to get her.
Any suggestions please?

LV Sue, you could try the Old Style board - load of SC users there - someone will have a favourite book, I'm sure

Thanks Chris25, I'll go and look over there.0

Anthony Worrall Thompson's one called 'Slow Cooking' is quite good and has loads of recipes from all over the world so is very varied.0

Have you considered putting one together yourself? Just find some recipes online & print out and put together in a display book, perhaps?0

2quid from asda bought one yesterdaySaving for our next step up the property ladder0

Thank you Reedbunting, porlock and al_1232 for your suggestions.
I'll check out the one in Asda and the AWT one.
Maybe the way to go is to print out recipes and put them in a pretty folder. I'll see what I can find.0 -
I got the following one for a Christmas present for £1.99 from the Works.

Thanks ipswichblade, I was in the Works today as well!
I am leaning towards one I saw in Lakeland today as it seems to cover the basics of slow cooking as well as some lovely recipes.

Only 2 reviews online though - 1 good & 1 bad - so I'm not sure whether to get it or not. I think I'd like it as a present though, so I may go back & buy it for myself!

I like 'Slow Cooking Properly Explained' It doesn't have loads of pictures but does have some lovely recipes in it. The Sausages in Onion Gravy are simply scrummy.Make £2026 in 2026

hi, i picked one up in the £land last week as a stocking filler for dh. Has approx 20 recipes in it, seems so much better than the price suggests! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0
