Yes, that does look good. Pity about the palm oil in it though- watched orangutan diaries recently and was quite sad when they showed the rainforests being destroyed for the production of palm oil, and all the baby orangutans losing their homes- it was quite upsetting to watch!

yeah i know, but with the agony ive been in-i was pleased to find something that worked. i bet they could not use it, and it'd still work really well. (my skin had cracked and was weeping, cuz the steriod cream had made it so itchy id scrached my skin to bits! i was having to bandage my hands up as it got so bad. i was amazed at how quickly i saw improvements).

hope you sort it out anyway,

As far as I understand liquid paraffin is definitely what they use in creams etc.- E45 and many other moisturisers, hand creams, etc. In the list of ingredients it will usually say 'Liquidum paraffinum' but it's just its Latin name! As far as I know mineral oil is the same thing as liquid paraffin.

And they "innocently market" the stuff as Baby Oil fit for babies!

Rubbish! preservatives are needed when there is water in the product formulation to prevent bacterial growth.

Try looking at the use by/shelf life dates of natural oils which are also fantastic for your skin think Olive Oil or Coconut Oil or Shea butter.
The reaseon these products have a shelf life of years is because they are A) Monosaturates ie less prone to go off than Polyunsaturates and B) Because there is NO WATER in them.no need for preservatives.

Mineral Oil by uitself prob has indefinate shelf life because it is devoid of everything!

Cosmetic companies will mislead you by making a moisturiser from 90% water and 10% active ingredients Mineral oil actually cheaper than water because there is so much swishing around from the petrol refining industry is serves no purpose to your skin being devoid of any Efa's ,vitamins, minerals or nutrients.

I suggest your Dermatologist learns some basic "cosmetic industry" information..

Allergenics products are EXCELLENT and are preservative free.

Aveeno is rubbish part of Johnson&Johnson you know the same ones that make all that mineral oil preserative laden stuff for "Babies" (sic)

These products from Halos andd Horns though aimed at children are exellent cleansers (face, body, hair and use as a shaving gel unisex!) and pretty cheap too so one product can do it all true money saving! for adults, babies and children !Tesco Asda Morrison stock them around £2!

    NO Nasties

Just found a really good website called 'There must be a better way' and it has an excellent general eczema tips page which looks pretty well-balanced:

The products look very good too.
