Hi everyone,
I work in IT, and get very little exercise. I really don't fancy jogging and I can't think of much worse than going to a gym and seeing everyone else fit and healthy.
So I thought I'd get a bicycle.
Any tips on places to look?
I've tried Sainsburys, and the big Asda Walmart and they only seem to sell children's bikes (up to 14yrs old). I will admit I haven't ridden since I was a teenager, but there must be places to get adult bikes cheap.
I tried Trade-it, but the prices in there were higher than I can get one new.
Is this a good deal? -> http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.200-0283.aspx ?
I don't really want or need a mountain bike particularly - I had a racing-style bike with normal straight handlebars as a kid.. which may have been aluminium (was definitely a lot lighter than everyone elses bikes - I could pick it up with one finger, wheels and all).
I looked at Halfords but they seem quite pricey compared to Tesco/Argos.
Thanks
