Happyland Zoo £15 at Debenhams...

Can't see this anywhere else!

Have been stocking up on Happyland for my little girs 2nd birthday in February. Spotted the zoo for 1/2 price in my local Debenhams, just £15.

Had a look online and it isn't on there so you might be lucky and get some instore. My store is Dumfries. Ones I can see online are -

  • Please don't buy this at £15-I bought one when it had a picture of the full ELC Zoo set which you can buy from ELC and was on offer saying £30 down to £26 ish with a code (it was £60 in ELC at the time), but it ISN'T the full set and I wouldn't even buy it at £7.50. When so many people complained that it wasn't the full set in the picture, Debenhams offered to refund part, bringing it down to (from memory) about £14 I think-it was ridiculous and I refused (along with lots of others) and they had to collect it/refund me.

It just has a tree and three (or maybe 4) figures-the kind of thing that if you get for £7 or under (compared to normal Happyland price)-but I wouldn't pay any more than that!

I tried to leave feedback to that effect on Debenhams but they told me my feedback 'wasn't suitable' and refused to publish it!

Please rethink before you order! Xx
  • Just to clarify-don't buy the one in weenireeni's link-the Op may have a different one!

If you are looking for a brilliant Happyland set, the Funfair (which ELC have phased out) is brilliant-and it's half price in Argos for £29.99 (see good reviews there too):

  • I totally agree with you MummyBunny - 3 animals for a 'reduced' price of £15 is hardly a zoo and represents very poor value for money - although to be fair, Debenhams do say that there are only 3 animals in their product description.
  • Sorry I can't find a link anywhere but it is bigger than the set shown that you have posted, it is in a big box and has a gift shop, the zoo, and some animals. Would take a pic for you but hubby has put it in the attic as our house is COVERED in xmas pressies for the kids! Hope this makes sense??? xxx
  • If it's the one with the penguin mountain and train Stacyluvya, that's the full set and that's great, you've got a bargain...not sure why anyone would sell just the smaller version!

I hope your children really enjoy it xx
