Difficulties with a savings bank

Recently set up a M&S Everyday Savings Account.
My attempts to extract information from their website, contact them either by phone, or through their website, have been discouraging - extremely discouraging. I am currently unable to withdraw money from the account.
Have others had similar experiences?

I applied two weeks ago and have heard nothing. Since then I've heard a few people have had problems.0

There have been lots of reports here about huge difficulties contacting M&S bank, and depositing money into them. Nobody has yet reported any attempts to withdraw money, but that could be great fun if M&S Bank remain as difficult to contact as they appear to be now.

The poor communications mean it has not been possible to set up a nominated account. Which means that money cannot be withdrawn.
Fortunately I had only transferred a small amount but even this I wish to withdraw because of the poor performance of this bank.
Has anyone contacted the FSA?
Note that a forum search for M&S produced:
1.Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.0 -

After 3 years I returned home from Uni - I was amazed how much he had learned in those 3 years0 -

Isn't that asked when you open the account?0 -
After registration, setting up a nominated account is a website procedure. You are directed to 'ask Hannah' (yes, really) their web robot, for instructions. Unfortunately Hannah was unable to even understand the question.
The phone service eventually results in contact with a real person, you explain the problem, you get no answer - just returned to the auto-loop. This happens perhaps 3 times until you give up.
Their website has a 'reply within 48 hours' question/answer service. It is now more than 144 hours - I have received no response.0
