Only on a few cards - that is those that allow a "money transfer" or "super balance transfer". A list of such cards is here - http://www.stoozing.com/sbt.php
    Most cards don't allow this.

Another option some people use is a 0% purchase card, they do their normal day to day spending (food, fuel etc) on the purchase card and leave the money they would otherwise have spent in their current account to 'repay' the overdraft. Whether that works depends on the relative size of the overdraft and ongoing spending.

OP, that's what I'm in the process of doing, and it's working great, I've almost cleared my overdraft completely now just by spending on credit cards instead of out of the current account.
I also do a fair bit of online shopping for my Mum (especially at this time of year...) so she pays me via BACS into my current account, and I pay for it on the credit cards. It all helps!

In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work

Thanks for posting the Stoozing website. Worked out which card was best for me. Hopefully I get accepted for the full transfer amount...
