Most areas have their own selling sites, most of mine are Belfast based. Just do a search on Facebook for your home town and see what crops up, sometimes need the word 'selling' or 'stuff for sale' you'll be surprised at what will and won't sell.
You then just upload a photo with a brief description and price, I also find it helps if you give a clearer idea of where in the area you are that way you don't get a lot of time wasters. Also many will ask if you deliver so sometimes it's best to state that too and add a price for delivery. I Don't charge if total is over £10 or if they're somewhere I'll be passing.
I don't know what area you're in but if you want help just ask

Thank you so much. I'll go looking.

    Goodnight and happy Christmas!

Blimey  You have loads on, wish I had half of that to do!
You do what feels right for you, and only you over Christmas! Hope you really do have a lovely one.

I'm trying to work out if I can squeeze a cinema trip in too  or something equally nice for DS and I to do.
If it's not bought now it's never going to be got in time so I'm now not worried, just going to try to enjoy the next few days and even if I'm not I'll look like I am, just like every other day since April last year :o

  • Just a quick catch up then bed, emptied sorted and stored 3 box loads so think that's enought for today.
I'll be up early in the morning to hoof boxes under the stairs and up to one of the landings.
Wrap a few prezzies then visit DH's aunt and maybe the out-laws if they're lucky - don't really fancy it as haven't seen them since last Xmas because they want me to run to see them, if they're that bothered about DS they would make the effort. DH's aunt does, she PMs me on Facebook but his father couldn't be bothered, not that I expect anything more from him he proved who's more important when he didn't want to know DS until he was 7!
Trying to work out if I can get someone to ring me after about 20 mins of being there, is that bad of me? I've just too much to do tomorrow and want to spend a bit of time with DH's aunt as she was his main carer for a big part of his life so deserves more attention.
That's my opinion and doesn't make me popular with the out-laws and the step and half brothers and sisters of DH but I don't care, you don't let you only child be abused by your new partner after your wife dies and then give up said child after they have run away numerous times so you can live with that person and expect everyone to forget about it all!

Sorry just got message from SIL demanding DS spend more time with these people, the words 'over my dead body' were sent back to her. They can see him for whatever time i see fit tomorrow and like it or not. So much for her telling me they'd take me to court to gain access they couldn't even be bothered, either that or their solicitor (if they even got one) got the same info from social services about them that mine did.

I have been invited by my Great Aunt up to her house tomorrow as she feels she needs a party, she's 93 btw! She fell last week and needs a wee cheer up so will be going up to see her.
Sorry went on a bit again, off to catch up then get some sleep.

unless they are his dad or mum they wuld be unliky to agin acsess to him hun i know from exsperience;) and let me tell you this to even if they are granted acsess unless its his dad you dt have to listen theres not much they can do this is froom my solisitors mouth form few years back, so dnt let that bother you , also dnt let anyone tell you what or who your son see i think you got it right when you say, how much time you see fit , and that a privalige to them and make sure they know it

if you despratly need some-one to ring id do it for you ;) your anty party sounds like fun and hope you enjoy

You know Spiraling, these subtle hints that you want an iron for Christmas arnt needed, you just need to ask :D

:rotfl: that would only mean that I deny my mother the absolute pleasure of doing the few bits of ironing I may need doing, heaven forbid that I would do such a thing, it makes her feel useful.

On the subject of my mum, she got her final PPI refund on Friday of just under £3000  she's very pleased that I got her to claim it back.
She also got word that she's got a new job starting the end of January so can finally give up the one she hates when that starts :T

  • Back from Asda. Anyone would think it was the end of the world! Oh wait, that was yesterday lol

There were about 100 people waiting at the doors. Nothing mad crazy other than plenty of people in pyjamas!

No decent wombling to be had except 12 plastic-y placemats left in a trolley! I did my civic duty and they have been adopted and are currently sitting comfortably in my living room :rotfl:

There are a couple of bits that I couldn't get tonight but nothing major.

Whoopsies weren't that great either but they were reducing 2 cages full and dated up to 26/12

they are a gr8t find hun
  • And finally it's good night from me x

I intend to be up in 5 hours  I'll be lucky if I'm up by 9am :rotfl: DS and I are making cookie dough tomorrow night for his Xmas pudding because he doesn't like fruit cake or Xmas pudding so he's asked for one of the just cooked cookie dough things that pizza hut do for dessert, my dad asked if he could have share and DS said he'd make him his own, he's such a good boy, a kinda weird child but he's mine and I love him :)
