SpiralingDown wrote: »This is what I've done, I decided to sell a few of the excess gifts I bought for Xmas on Facebook along with stuff I make to start a fund for a nice holiday for DS and I to go on next summer. We're just planning on a last minute thing unless we see a bargain.
The rest of the family and friends have already booked their summer holiday and left us and 2 of my cousins families out. My two cousins then booked their own trip.
Both were too expensive for me, so that just leaves the two of us to sort something out.
I did feel very smug when I was able to price both holidays cheaper than either group so delighted in telling and showing them how much they could have saved. The first group could have saved £300 per family and my cousins could have saved £800 between them
My running total in our note tin is £251 and I just sold £65 more on Facebook to be picked up tomorrow so doing well for 3 weeks selling and hope to add loads more with valentines, mothers and fathers days comming up, not to mention end of year teachers gifts and Easter etc.
I decided after the first £ coin went in that there would be no more as it makes so much noise so have been swapping them with shops and the local near my mums has been very happy to do this
Sorry started rambling again :rotfl:
How do you sell things on Facebook please?0 -

No but those that do, seem to have to use the phrase "lost everything in a fire" a bit too often for my liking. :eek:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
