    Anyone else received a letter from virgin saying the price is going up £4 odd per month next year (thats Richard Bransons mob before you comment ;))
    Shocking thats about 7-8%

    Yes, we did.:mad::mad:
    Getting more keen on quitting them. Got an indoor ariel in the attic now, and a few freeview boxes. There's stacks of good telly on the web. We don';t watch sport.

    Need to check if the wires under the stairs are connected to an outside BT line so we can drop the virgin phone which we never really use for outgoing calls.

    But might want to keep the internet - it's really ultrafast, when it's working which is most of the time.;)

    Well I will be ringing them before the time and trying for a reduction if they dont want to play could be time to go back to sky :eek:
    Problem is like you my broadband is spot on and sky broadband is 2mb if no one else is on it so basically snails pace if you use it other than 3am and then not even close to virgin.
    Still want a reduction and will get one ,one way or another :D

    I've just seen the request for the receipt details so, before I go, here they are:
    14 items (10 different) on your bill qualify for comparison
    Asda +2.46 Tesco cheaper
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Multi Purpose Cloths (10)£0.36£0.36 2 x ASDA Chosen by You Vanilla Custard Slices (2x108g)£2.00£2.00 2 x Halls Sugar Free Original Cough Lozenges (9)£0.80£0.80 1 x Cadbury Turkish Biscuits (130g)£1.00£1.00 1 x Oral B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush£15.00£15.00 1 x Wall's Sausage Rolls Pork & Sweet Onion (280g)£1.58N/A 2 x Halls Soothers - Blackcurrant (10)£0.80£0.80 1 x Groomed Face Wash Wake Up Call (100ml)£1.50N/A 1 x ASDA Smartprice Dish Cloths (5)£0.75£0.75 1 x ASDA Smartprice Dusters (5)£0.71£0.71 1 x ASDA Smartprice Shampoo (500ml)£0.20N/A 2 x ASDA Butcher's Selection Skinless Chicken Breast F...£7.40£7.28 1 x Vaseline Mini Makeup Bag£6.00£3.66 Comparison total (compared products only)£34.82£32.36.

    I was actually trying to limit the APG as nearly up to the £100 limit and need a big APG shop vs Morrisons half-price offers tomorrow with another £5 off generated. Then I'll try the Sally Hansen Miracle Cure vs Sains. later in the week if it's still on.

    I messed up on the above 'gift set' shop as bought the wrong Walls Sausage Rolls (my store had only a limited ed. version and not the original one - need the original, to compare vs T at 84p). The Chicken Breasts were the 450g version, the ones that are on 3 for £10, but only bought two as matching vs Tesco's 2 for £7 multibuy. (Perhaps others can mix & match 2 Asda Chicken Breasts with another item in the 3 for £10 that's N/A vs T, even one that may be on MSM, but not too much to be made as the prices per item on the meat are closer together between Asda & competitors - I did consider a meat mix&match with 3 but rejected it for this reason).

    The Vaseline Makeup shop. And where are the Adidas Trio Ice Dives??? (!!!)
    For those wondering, the Vaseline came back N/A vs Morrisons on the Morrisons side of this comparison. Sains & Waities also N/A on the makeup bags, so it's vs T.
    I'll try to post the earlier comparison (the one with the Bubble Bath Set) later on, but need to root out the receipt.
