You are so brave Bubbs, I would be an emotional wreck having this happen again in a matter of weeks. Fingers crossed for you that all will be ok and you stay dry and safe.
Did you manage to eat some chocolate yesterday??0 -
I thought they did! i'm sure ive bought them before as a filler. Could be wrong though. Anyway, I won't make that mistake again. LOL
I think there's been a change in the t&cs regarding "whoops" items. Blink and you'll miss it, as it is rather subtle...
It used to be that fresh items purchased on Whoops would not be compared as these are store-specific discounts, but that non-fresh items on Whoops would be compared - at the original price. Personally I've never risked a whoops item on an APG shop in case the item compares the reduced price with the competitor's full price.
The t&cs changed a few months ago and they now say '5. Any items carrying a "Whoops" label in ASDA will be excluded from the ASDA Price Guarantee as these are store specific discounts on damaged or short date coded items.'
The Whoops - or equivalent - items bought in Sains. do work, to help get up to a £20 shop but only perhaps if they are own-brand. As all own-brand items are excluded from Sains Brand Match, any really reduced Sains-own label can 'bulk out' a Brand Match - but of course don't buy extra items unnecessarily but if you're a little short of the £20 spend and there are some bargain 'whoops' (or whatever the equivalent is) - add them on - that said, it's a more difficult struggle as items really cheap take you more slowly to the min. spend.
Nonetheless, say you're 30p short, a few 10p breads (some of which you can freeze) might take you there: you wouldn't get these cheaper through the APG even if an equivalent was available in Sada, due to the regular Sains price applying and not the discount on a short-date etc. item. I wouldn't risk, say, a Warburtons 10p at S on a brand match comp. in case it compared the 10p I'd paid to the £1 or more price of the bread at the competitor. (Might have risked Kingsmill rolls though on an S v A comp. - if they were 10p - as only stocked in S and T - although I think A now have them, so wouldn't risk this anymore.)0 -

Love the video, I actually thought a FB friend done it as she has pugs called locca and Alfie and they're exactly the same colours and she has boxers but I realised it wasn't her when it came to the family shot at the end.
It put a smile on my face and DS has listened to it 4 times already and still humming the tune

Do you think it will compare with S if its out of stock?
I think it probably won't compare and cautious me I wouldn't buy it (presumably in A) due to the size of the price difference. This is also what it is showing as (S out of stock) when I'm logged in on MSM. Logged out, S becomes N/A. As a result, I think the situation when logged out seems to be the more accurate one.
The price, showing as out of stock when logged in, may indicate an offer price that has expired today - or is very soon to expire, e.g. tomorrow, due to the prices being those online (and hence may have become unavailable to online shoppers at sains.co.uk if all tomorrow's delivery slots have gone). You sometimes find items on MSM.co.uk marked out-of-stock where it is the stated price that no longer applies rather than the item itself literally being out-of-stock at that supermarket. (The item is out-of-stock at that price rather than out-of-stock.)
I've also checked sains.co.uk and unfortunately I can't find the product in question. I've done a wider search on google, to see if it can find a cache from Sains.co.uk taken a few days ago when the product might have been there and with the £7 price. Unfortunately it has returned nothing relevant and I can't find it at that price or any other. It's possible that a T PP vs S might pick up the item and refund back to match Sains' £7 price, even if you can't find it in your Sains store, as T may scan another area of the country and find the item on Sains.co.uk in that place. However, I doubt it (although my doubt may be shown to be wrong though). MSM also scans different areas of the country and, as it's showing N/A for Sains on MSM.co.uk when logged out, I'm sorry this seems an offer at Sains. which you've just missed.
Unfortunately neither do I have a Morrisons price for this item (I'm useless tonight aren't I?) as inevitably that wasn't a shelf I checked that thoroughly last time - you lot on here always seem to go straight for the shelf that I didn't look as much at! My thought is continue looking around I'm afraid to see if you can find another offer on another suitable product at a competitor. Unfortunately I know these items can run out on us and you may need this sort of item quite soon, and be keen to save as much as you can due to the relatively high price of these sorts of items. I will however try to look in M at this section when I start again in the new year.
Sorry I can't be of more help on this - my suggestion is keep looking around on MSM, although someone will doubtless shoot me down for this and tell me it is comparing vs S. My hunch though is it probably won't.0 -

I've already told them I'm on strike this year, just fed up with him doing this so have decided to arrive, eat breakfast, open prezzies from them, visit my older cousin and her family and then back to mums to eat dinner and go home. I don't care if they think I'm rude I'm just going to do what I want and that's that!
You should do what you want, you deserve it. Just go out and let them cook the dinner. You just have to turn up and eat it then.:AI am a Dolphin Angel:A
