Forgot to mention that there were some good reductions on clothes at T's, I picked up some pjs for my older DD for £3 and bought lots of socks for LO.

Also thanks to everyone here I was able to help out my good friend that is not that well off this year with a big box of food and bag of toiletries. She said it was like getting stuff from the foodbank, I just hope that was a good thing, I know some people don't like charity. But she seemed grateful..just difficult to tell, as she is also going through a hard time right now with her fella.

Anyway, I best go to bed, otherwise my children will just stay up all night, neither of them look a bit tired.
I always mean to post something small and waffle on. Goodnight all x Hugs to all feeling down. Turn that frown upside down, sorry I get worse the later it gets. My 2yr old is watching the disney junior fireworks, she could watch the bangs all night :rotfl:
it's nice to be able to help out. not always easy to judge how people will take it. I have a very young single mum further down my street who is obviously struggling. I invited her in for a coffee and she ended up gratefully taking loads of toys that my kids are grown out of. Ive given her some chocs and other bits and pieces earlier this week and found out she was having Xmas by herself, so invited her fir dinner with her LO as well as my OHs friend who's wife has just kicked him out...and the elderly next door neighbour, who usually goes to his daughters but she us on a cruise this year and he is on his own....so should be interesting if nothing else!
