OK truth and honesty time. My gang are all at the young adult stage
but I still do Christmas stockings for them. Each stocking has roughly the same number of items in them, all different each year and for each person so they are always full of surprise items. none of them ever have a clue what is in them. I also wrap each time in masses of paper and Sellotape so they have to fight to get into them. yes I know I make life difficult for myself but I still enjoy doing the stockings, collect stuff to go in them all year round. I stress myself out about doing the stockings for weeks every year but the stockings are probably the best bit :T

I am so glad you said this;)When I was stressing about wrapping it was because I had 40 extra pressies to wrap:oEvery year I do one for DS,MrLala,Nannylala and my MIL (MrLala does one for me;)) Each stocking has 10 pressies in and like you they usually cause more excitement than their actual pressies. Same as you I collect bits all year for them:)Its what Xmas is all about:T:T

Evening all:)Wrapping done:T:TFood shopping done:T:T:TBit manic out there but all done now, and me and Nannylala did 2 T's and on the second one spotted a huge shelf of 1p pickled onion Monster Munch;)So we finished the shopping, packed it in the car and legged it back in for them;)We were so knackered, but just couldnt leave them there;):rotfl:Went to B&Q but still only on 50% reductions, so it has to be tomorrow that they are going right down. But they had some lovely wellies down from £15 to £7.50:)Think theyd make a little mistake in one T's, theyd reduced the Finest beef gravy and Turkey gravy down to 75p a pot and the date was 31/12;)All the others with 27th on were full price so grabbed thw whoopsied ones a bit sharpish to use with Finest vouchers. No probs with the Finest vouchers either, All scanned perfectly;)

I keep forgetting about the monster munch do you have a barcode Niki?

, im well and truly in a better place now lol, and dont have to hide money for me and my dd i was stupid to stay once she came along and will never forgive my self for that but she was never harmed nor was i

i cant use hukd or nore do i want to:p:p iv clicked on a few links on here before for hukd and seen what people are like about spelling and grama its unreal i find it weird why some one would do that its not school lol im so rubbish at pc its unreal.

if i told you im a very clever person and have achieved so much in life, you or others might find it hard to believe ;):rotfl:as my grammar and spelling are rubbish :(, and always let me down , but its true iv been very sucsesfull im a great believer in unless you try you will never know lol at the moment im curantly making a bussines plan for a food van selling my homemade meals:rotfl: but also saving for our morgage, and funds cant be stretched everywhere :( that i sell to few people at the moment :o

    sory for long post lol

You get spelling idiots on mse and hukd, just ignore them and continue to enjoy the bargains. It seems that hukd is used more by men who can be less sensitive when posting. I love hukd and mse and wouldn't let idiots like that stop me posting.

Well done you for getting out of the relationship, it took my mum over 17 years and moving to another part of the UK to get away from my dad.

Thanks for this link I have been looking for it for ages. Will watch on lappy in hotel room tomorrow night. Lappy is a pain as keeps bufferring but iphone is too flaming small. Have m and s vouchers from sky which I will sell to mum, a nice xmas cheque from my dad and after xmas I am going to consolidate a few apgs and go for a tablet.
Still not made up my mind if I want a galaxy or ipad. Was going to get a cheapy one just for using in bed when eyesight not up to using phone but have heard they can compromise your wifi and I do alot of online shopping (obviously lol)
Decisions, decisions but I get frightened now about spending a large amount of money in one go:eek:

Huge thanks to the Elite for showing me the way. I am in such a better position now than in august when I found the forum by chance while waiting for a delayed flight.
My first glitch was the Mr Shoes 500pts on the body spray. Had to apply for a shoes card and now have over £40pts for the sales. Then BS and that lead to sado and 10p s'poo. The rest they say is history.

Not only all the savings but I feel I have found somewhere I belong. I think I enjoy the forum more than the actual shopping.
If I can save this much and build up nice stashes in 5 months just think what next year could bring.

A big thanks to you all for making me feel so at home.
(Has anyone heard from Budgie? I keep thinking of her dad and wonder how things are going)

    Big xmas hugs to all.
    V x

Now could I please have an invite to the f/b page pleeease.....
