    Body shop question

I registered my body shop card on my online account with a December birthdate. How do i go about getting my birthday gift? Do i just go in with my card and they check the registered date or do they send me an email to print off?

Lastly, does anyone know what the free gift actually is?

    TIA

  • All caught up now :D

Hope you're feeling better Nikkilala and Nannylala is looking after you, bless her :)

Just wanted to check something out as someone may have already mentioned this. Included in my shopping for today was an alessi serving set to get my spend up - wanted to use a Sun 'tenner', worked lovely. Received a till spit for £5 off WYS £40 or more on all cook & dine and homeware (including cutlery). Has anyone used these spits towards the cost of more alessi cutlery? It's just that I have another Sun 'tenner' to use and could be persuaded to buy another serving set ;). Many thanks.

so true Anon.. but then again have u looked at my past record...bet u do actually go and get ya bargains...lazy me on the other hand never makes it out the door:) my intentions are good, i think...right lets get me coat by the door, sort coupons and apg's to use and i even make my glitchy shopping lists and end up not going and actually doing it, silly me

I have been on my fair share of wild goose chases as a result of deals posted on here and HDUK ... in fact that is normally my response to Mrs Anon when she asks where I am going and she now knows exactly what I mean

But when they come off, she is happy enough, you have to be in it to win it and some come off very well .

Evidently I won it in a Sainsburys competition.

I can't remember entering the competition, but I must have done!:rotfl:

Used one of the new price promise vouchers in T's today and nobody seemed to know what to do with it as there are no numbers to check.
SA asked me if I knew. I said "It's my first one I haven't a clue."
SA asked the SA's on the tills on side of her, they didn't know either, none of them had seen one before so they rang for someone else.
Guess what , she didn't know either, but said she would have to ask someone else and would be back soon.
Came back and said "just scan it" to SA, and "sorry for keeping you waiting" to me.
Then she told SA to give me receipt back as it wasn't needed.
SA asked if she should sign it, and supervisor said no, as it was not needed. I asked her to rip it up and put it in the bin.
SA said "but can't people print vouchers again and reuse the receipt, but supervisor said no.

With the new vouchers they scan the barcode which is apparently unique to your receipt, so the system knows when it has been redeemed (and therefore no need to sign the receipt).
