I've met too many elderly people who are just about scared to spend any money on themselves because their adult children expect an 'inheritance' !

I fully intend to spend my hard earned assets on enjoying my old age with my Husband. If anything is left when I kick the old bucket, the family are welcome to it - but none of them know what I've got or what my Will states about who gets what.

Thanks for your and everyone elses views. It has reminded me to be more people focussed and less money focussed.

I'm not about to discuss my situation in any more detail. It's complex so not as cut and dried as hypothetical examples prefer.

Sorry cant help as ive given up on ff since my tower fell over the other week and hit mrs nerf on the head:D so no happy:o but i did get a ff fix last Saturday when the 3 tins were working and i hid them.;)

hope everyone is well. Ive lots of taxi-ing to do do this afternoon and evening. 2 kids doing different Christmas stuff at completely different places at different times and need dropping off and picking up. It should all fit in nicely if nothing gets in my way:D
