I agree with you , it would help straighten some kids out, but shoot me down for speaking out here and i am sure someone will...
but i totally disagree with schemes like this, why is it that it always seems to be that the "naughty" kids get rewarded for doing wrong?
I know not all kids that are in specialised teaching units are not "naughty" and some are there through no fault of their own, i do not blame the kids, but what incentive is there for hard working kids who knuckle down at school to acheive decent results?
my kids have all been through normal mainstream education, and each and every one of them have studied hard and sat exams whilst there is a family up the road from me, with 3 kids, all of whom have been to a specialised unit, they get taxied there in a morning and taxied back in an evening, and would you believe that their PE lesson is ice skating or ten pin bowling in hollywood bowl:eek: all for free might i add!! whilst mine had to venture out in all weathers to catch the bus (2 mile journey), to endure a 2 hour PE lesson of running around a pitch in the pouring rain.
    really irritates me this subject.

    Good Afternoon everyone :)

Had a :( day will post when i caught up.

I totally agree with this at the school i am dinner lady naughty kids come for their dinner first and get rewarded day after by sitting on top table ... I used to work at a senior school before this primary and was disgusted when anyone went in school eg offsted and mayor etc the naughty kids used to get taken out of school on day trips used to  me because i struggled to get my DS through school and was grateful when my mum helped me out. So i for one will not shoot you down sorry if this offends anyone.
