  • You are welcome:)

Yes do be strong, remember u are not alone:)

Hope all is a little better for you, then when u didn't log in at all last week?

do remember there is help out there should you be struggling with finances so much that it affects your grocery shop, i.e not enough food at home. A friend of mine struggled this way, just as I have.

Don't let it get so bad and get stressed further. If there is anything u would like to chat about, just say so. I'm all ears:)

Thought my comp logged in every day as soon as i turn comp on coz my session restores or is that what you meant? - my dd used comp every day and asks whether she should close it and I always say no coz might not find you all again!

I save every penny for food and and things for dd - just big stuff not getting paid and they aint playing nice!

I know this isnt the thread to talk about it so will leave it at that - thank you for offer of chat but don't know where to start!! thanks you x[/QUOTE]

i used to think that :o but then o/h showed me that if you

click on forums when u come on this site ,then where it says welcome (what ever your username is ) click that

then a page will open and it says about me ,statistics, contact info,

click statistics then click find all post by ( your user name) and the last place you posted will be there (infact all post you ever done will be there ):T

    Good morning :)
Went on a real food mag and 4p boxer hunt yesterday, tried 3 stores - no mags :( but fatherbear did find 1 pack of 4p boxers hiding right at the back of a rail behind some xmassy pants :)
On way home collected a delicious Papa Johns pizza that I won a few weeks ago and had it with some 12p whoopsied Finest coleslaw

Congratulations to Masterlala for his awards :T

    Morning all!
Just a heads up to those planning on using T finest party food over Christmas / New Year. The half price offer, that works so well with the 2.00 finest coupon, ends 11/12/12. I know I'm going to buy oriental dumplings, mushroom filo parcels and stuffed Thai prawns to fit into my freezer while the offer is still on and they are 8.00 for 5 packs with one voucher. The only duff one we have tried is the mini steak pie pack of 12, which is really poor quality filling ( gravy and a heart valve in mine, the rest went on the bird table!) but all the others we tried are particularly lovely at half price!

I was looking forward to trying the mini steak pies :(

Somethings niggling, so I thought I'd throw it open to the experts for comment...
Was looking at the Tesco Finest Frozen Turkeys last night. There were various sizes all together, ranging from about 3.5 to 5ish kilos. Price label on the freezer was £20, and then a price per kilo (£5 something).

I checked the barcodes on the turkeys and they were all the same... so if you buy a big one do you get a much better deal than if you get a small one? And if you buy a small one (and therefore pay more than the price per kilo stated) are you due for DTD?

Hi, just buy the biggest turkey in all the land (well in the range) its the best value for money and don't even try to argue the DTD, which IMO you would be entitled to but probably not worth it as its likely to raise your profile.

e.g. Based on £5.00 exactly per kilo

    3.5kg turkey x £5.00 = £17.50

    Charged £20.00

    max DTD would be (£2.50 x 2) £5.00

Not worth it if you ask me, but every little helps :rotfl:
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.

They have no obligation to sell whatsoever

    None. Nada. Zilch

However, had you managed to slip some cash in the ss machine and compete the transaction legal ownership passes to you and they can do nothing about it.

    Next time scan faster ;)

my o/h thinks im mad going in with pennies and 2 pennies ready in my hand :o
