Am off on my travels today again - woop woop ! House fully of Kids yesterday so am looking forward to today !

Just wondered - any TECHIE ppl out there

My DH is going to get me a smart phone - but I don't know what to go with - we can go pay monthly and get a free phone and free gifts etc... And 100mins ( prob enough ) but data is only like 100mb etc... Is this miniscule? Can anyone recommend the best thing to do? I am not fussed about too many minutes and don't know if i'll use the phone for much surfing as I have a tablet? But would I still need alot of data if say I came onto this sight while in Asda etc...? See totally clueless ? Any help much appreciated !

    Any good ?

    morning Elite :)

this is a mystery for me :o I had a Nokia(with full querty, a bit like blackberry) phone with Three and 1gb data, I only used for browsing(mostly mse) and I was getting close or using up ALL the data
So based on that I was only considering 1gb+ for my next contract, went for the Galaxy S3 with Orange and my data usage now is between 100 and 200mb a month
My browsing habits are still the same(or I'm even browsing more now as I was 'saving' the data a bit before when I knew I was close to the limit)

Does it depend on the phone? Or was I being ripped off by Three?!

probably! I hate 3  when I was on 3 my phone would never work when I went abroad. They said it was my phone, not their network! rubbish! I'm with o2 now and my phone always works abroad. I have a galaxy S2 and use very little data:)

One to ponder for today - is glitch/discount shopping a hobby or obsession/addiction ...?

    Discuss.

For me......I cannot help going back for more. There is something very satisfying about it :)

well some might say a really good glitch is better than sex :)

I guess that depends on the person your getting sex from. :D

Since im kind of new to this I think I avoided what I will refer to as an "attempted trouting" (would that be appropriate wording ? lol) . Easy one I had one of the vouchers £9.50 ish from an APG and the SA asked me if I was allowed to spend this voucher on purchases under £40 (Which my current lot going through the till was). I just replied yes it's a non conditional voucher and their is no minimum (with a smile). She then proceded to shout across to another SA who basically confirmed what I had just said lol. I then jokingly said to her "oh so you didn't believe me then lol" and she replied "NO" with a scowl I just giggled like a little boy while collecting my stuff and change. And walked off after saying you have a nice evening thank you. She was dead miserable lol. Not a proper trouting I know but hey ho it was amusing.
In the last few days I have managed to get 2x sally hansen nail stuff for mrs DavidF. And the 2x Vodka too. I ba***** up my chocolate shop....but all in all im happy with what I have got and still have £10+ in vouchers to spend. It deffo can be quite addictive lol.

  • Another Voucher which I think was missed in Yesterday's Sun Newspaper

Morning All, still catching up with last night's posts, wow, a whole lotta pages to go through yet!

If anyone went out to buy a copy of The Sun yesterday, for the M cond spend and the W&M vouchers, before anyone dumps their copy, I've found another voucher which may be of use to some people.

Inside the 'Goals' section is another section called 'TV Bizz'. On page 4 there is a voucher for £5 Off £25 Spend (has to be full price item) at Lipsy Stores. The voucher is valid until 21st Dec. There's also an online code to spend at www.lipsy.co.uk

    Hope this helps :)
