It's not greenhouses we need to worry about. Judging by the accusations flying my way, posters on this thread seem to be more interested in these outbuildings.:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Got 2 myself, both built with my fair hands. I tried melons once, only ended up with small balls (quiet FF!) you had much luck with them? Toms I live, cucumber I manage, peppers always seem to just give up, chillis I manage okay but dont really bother with. Did some syphilis (sk?) and they worked well, but in the main., I stick o toms. Got a couple of lemon trees, but brought them into the house as have no heating in the GH. Dont grow many flowers as such, may do next year. Oh I do miss the summer!!fairclaire wrote: »I've got 2 greenhouses. Ive already got some seeds going for early flowers next year and I have 2 grapevines which I'm hoping will survive the winter. I've got one heated for the seedlings and grapes and the other is just sheltering the half hardy plants from the frost. In the summer both are full of tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, melons, chillies and other stuff....I'm a bit obsessed with the garden and growing stuff, but it keeps me busy:)........not working is starting to drive me mad, I need something to keep me busy“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
