    Good afternoon all,

As usual a fleeting visit from me; what with the new work schedule, life, glitching and all that there's little time for MSE! I hope all are enjoying their Christmas shopping and have their studs ready for the snowy/icy weather.

JS - Sorry to hear the cove is red. :( It's a real shame animals are slaughtered for fun and food but alas, it's not just the east that do this.

As a follow up to this. In my local T's filling station last night the Cherry Coke and Ribenna were both marked up at 27p.

I have yet to trudge to Morrisons for the cheap games but must go soon. I got Hitman for £20 and thought I was doing well. I just bought Pokermon Black 2 and White 2! Cost ruudy fortune these games!

DD1 is ecstatic as OH is coming home from Afgan and will be there for the birth of DGD1! :D:A He's had his picture taken and been interviewed by a Radio One DJ (don't know his name, I'm more of a Radio 4 listener) and put it on FB so DD1 is again happy she's caught a glimpse of him. She's off visiting friends 'darn sarf' but he's due back on the 15th so they're coming to ours for Chrimbo :T Sending prayers to those still out there serving for their safe return to their loved ones especially at this time of year.

Right, must get back to work. It's DD2's awards ceremony tonight for her GCSE results and she's won an award! :j

    Catch you all later.

PS - Happy birthday to all those I've missed whilst busy.:bdaycake: And Merry Christmas to all. :santa2:

He reckons I am getting a £32 discount in total, I have the XL BB.
Unless someone confirms otherwise I think we must have a decent deal after all.

Either way came on here this morning to cut my virgin bill (no back in your box I know you read this) and have ended up ordering a new phone
Must get back to painting :rotfl:

I'm with virgin and I get 30mb BB (L), TV (L) and evening & weekend calls for £33.50 a mth. I also have the superhub and a Tivo box - never have any probs and the tivo thing is brilliant.

They've now started doing the same as BT and if you pay line rental a year in advance you get it cheaper (ca £3/mth) worth doing if you're definitely staying with them.

I'd recommend cancelling no matter what they offer and then within a day or two you get a call from the retentions team who can give much better deals than whoever you speak to when you cancel. :)

Totally O/T but just wanted to share;)I bought these boots from A's last week and they are the most comfortable boots for the money ever. I got mine with a mix of APG's and other deals;)but I'd seriously pay £38 for them. They have a rubbery sole so you don't slip, are leather and have an elasticated bit at the back so it doesnt matter if your calves are a bit bigger or a bit smaller. They feel like they are padded in the sole so are so comfy.Going back to get them in black because they are seriously brilliant:T:T:T

Checked in my A yesterday and there wasn't even a space for it. SA told me that a number of people have been asking for it but as far as she knew it had been dicontinued.

Oh right, wonder why that is?? I had tuna on my shopping list anyway and had checked A v T prices.. Wondered why the shelf was cleared despite it saying £4 - £2 is a much better price for me!!
    Tiger

To all those who like their Tuna cheap, have you all tried Mr T's chunks at 54p a tin? I know it's 16p more for 4 but they have them all the time. I use them as a filler on my TPP shops and have a good stock for the New Year. I always add a splash of vinegar and pepper to mine in a bowl (and salt, that I know I shouldn't, what with high BP but heh ho!) and they taste lovely. :A

EDIT - PS, how is Tigercub doing? I see Tigermum has been sick. I too have the worse strain, Man Flu! Spent £40 on remedies in Mr T's the other day - i don't do sick well!
