Just off the phone with my dad, he's been in a lot of pain with his shoulder and arm for a while and I managed to get his GP to refer him for tests/scans on it which were done in October. He's never heard anything back about them so I rang this morning to see if they'd come back yet, they asked him to come to them to speak to the GP.
He got home at 6 but only just remembered to ring me about it now, he's got arthritis in his shoulder and that's what is causing his pain. Now we know what we're dealing with we know how to help him but the hardest one will be getting him to stop standing out in the cold to have a smoke, hopefully this will help him cut down more ;)

He's been given tramadol to help him sleep, he's exhausted because he's not able to get comfortable at all so I'm hoping he'll get some rest soon.

Good that your dad knows what the problem is now. Hope the pain can be sorted. :)

Is there any way you can take an alternative/longer route home or is that a silly question? Take care.
    Caz

I have done since my first encounter, I have 2 quick ways (1 longer than the other) I can go unless I fancy going right around Belfast :rotfl: but on the whole I have thankfully missed most of the trouble.
Thankfully we didn't even hear anything any of the nights it's been bad so DS has slept soundly, I woke one of the nights hearing loud bangs but fell back asleep soon after.
Nothing bothers me when it comes to getting my sleep :o

Oh ok - terribly restricting but as time goes on getting a bit easier. He is no longer in pain which is good......but no driving cos I can't be bothered negotiating with insurance company. I am not the most tolerant person in the world - I just can't understand why he can't get up and run:rotfl::rotfl:

On a more serious note- I bought a cheapo office chair with rolly feet from Argos and he scoots around the house on it. You see he is a brill cook and now he can get up and down the kitchen fridge to cooker etc:D Makes me tea while I am on here!!!

    Thank you for asking hun.

PS: Is savvy male or female- have we had confirmation?

Thank you OP bostanboy on hukd...

Not sure if correct as "proof" has yet to be provided lol!

I think I know what happened. Last year I picked up a pack of lagers and using the ss noticed that they scanned at a silly price. Anyway, it seems that in my case there were 2 b/c on the pack. One is for the pack the other is for a single unit
